Class 2A1 (taught in June by Mr Sullivan) covered work on Integers and other basic number work using the mnemonic BOMDAS (with two homeworks on this issued on the Mymaths website).
The class then moved on to the topic of Triangles & Quadrilaterals with additional work on Angles (Alternate, Corresponding and Vertically Opposite) as well as Areas of quadrilaterals also included. The class have been directed to the Mymaths website for extra work to re-inforce the work covered in class.
The class has been instructed to learn the formulae for the various areas of quadrilaterals, and to remember the definitions of the different types of triangles and quadrilaterals.
