We continued to refer to the summary of the topics in each Unit of Mathematics – National 4 and kept the focus on the first Unit test (Expressions & Formulae) the week beginning 16th September.
This week we completed the geometric skills aspect – Surface Area & Volume of Prisms as well as covering Rotational Symmetry. The pupils were reminded that many aspects of this was revision of work covered in S1 and S2. We then moved onto simple Statistics (again revision this time of S3 work), and the class reminded about Mean, Median and Modal values (a nonsense rhyme was provided to aid with memory of these).
The class were given a homework on the Mymaths website (All Averages) with a deadline of Thursday 12th September for completion.
