3A6 – week ending 17th January

We took a break from the Statistics project to allow some of the pupils who were absent to get caught up on the work that they had missed in collating all the appropriate analyses to do work on Number Patterns with work from a booklet and worksheets entitled Number Patterns. This work can be found on the MyMaths website under Library – Algebra – Sequences – Sequences and also nth Term. This involved pupils looking at a sequence of numbers, being able to work out the next number in that particular sequence, spotting a formula for the nth term and then calculating a particular value in the sequence using the formula that they have worked out.
