We continued the National 5 work with the first unit – Applications, with the topic Trigonometry. We continued with the Sine Rule, using it to calculate missing sides, followed by missing angles. This can be found on the MyMaths website under Library – Shape – Trigonometry – Sine Rule. This led onto the Cosine Rule which involved missing sides – Library – Shape – Trigonometry – Cosine Rule Sides.
We also spent one period doing Non-Calculator work revisiting Percentages and this will be a regular topic over the next few weeks.
