This week we continued with the topic Decimals with extra practice on adding and subtracting decimals, before moving onto multiplying and dividing by 10 and 100. This can be found on the Mymaths website under Library – Number – Decimals. The class had a homework due on Thursday 10th October on the Mymaths website (Adding & Subtracting Decimals) which the majority of the class completed very well. However there were one or two individuals who did not do it despite daily reminders and a week in which to do it. All parents should have been informed of their childrens’ access details so that you can monitor their progress at home.
We also did more work on Problem Solving – Elimination and will probably continue to practice the strategies for solving problems after the October break.
