We continued the Money & Finance topic with a look at foreign exchange.
We then spent one period on revision of the work covered throughout the year followed by a period of non-calculator revision. The class were reminded that next week they would be sitting their S3 exams, which would include a Non-Calculator paper as well as a Calculator paper. Any of the work covered in S1, S2 and S3 to date could appear in the test. The class were informed of the topics that they could expect to encounter as they are almost certain to occur in an exam – Pythagoras; Trigonometry; Rounding; Scientific Notation; Area/Volume; Brackets & Equations; Percentages; Speed / Distance / Time; Statistics and also Straight Line.
