2B1 – week ending 16th May

Two periods this week would be devoted to giving the Finance Project presentations to Mrs Rennie and myself. The other lessons would be looking at probability and how this relates to Finance in betting and stocks & shares. This will carry on to next week as well. We have already discussed how bookmakers take 90% of the income and that the odds are always stacked against you. Hopefully by carrying out a series of practical experiments the class will develop their appreciation of the futility of this.
