The class were reminded that they need to have mastered the Standard Grade work on <em>Fractions, Indices <\/em>and<em> Factorising.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>This week&#8217;s work culminated in sketching graphs of various functions by using Differentiation to identify the Stationary Points on a graph as well as the other major features such as the roots, where it crosses the y-axis and the shape of the graph.<\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p>The class were issued with homework 6 on\u00a0<em><strong>Differentiation<\/strong> <\/em>and this is due in on Tuesday 17th September. This will also provide the pupils with a good indicator of how well they are coping with the topic as the basic competence NAB test is scheduled for the week beginning the 30th September.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--end entry--><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This week we continued the topic\u00a0\u00a0Differentiation and Chapter 6.
