The class were reminded that they need to have mastered the Standard Grade work on <em>Fractions, Indices <\/em>and<em> Factorising.<\/em><\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p>The class had their homework 6 on\u00a0<em><strong>Differentiation<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>returned (and the\u00a0opportunity to seek assistance with\u00a0any problens relating to this)<em>\u00a0&#8211;<\/em> this will also provide the pupils with a good indicator of how well they are coping with the topic as the basic competence NAB test is scheduled for the week beginning the 30th September.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>On Friday\u00a0we went over the whole of the Practice NAB with guidance on the threshold scores and how the marks are awarded ready for the actual NAB on Tuesday 1st October. This will be followed with an Extended Unit Test to more accurately see how well each individual is coping with the course thus far.<\/p>\n<p>We will then be starting the next unit beginning with <strong><em>Polynomials &amp; Quadratics.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This week we continued the topic\u00a0\u00a0Differentiation and Chapter 6.
