The work can be found on the MyMaths website\u00a0under Library\u00a0&#8211; Shape &#8211; Measures &#8211; Speed, and also at Library &#8211; Algebra &#8211; Graphs &#8211; Real Life Graphs and also Distance\/Time Graphs.<\/p>\n<p>The class had a homework due on Thursday 10<sup>th<\/sup> October on the Mymaths website (Speed) which the majority of the class completed very well (although a few did not do so well even though everyone has been told they should be getting 75% or above when tackling homeworks on the Mymaths website as there are lessons linked with each homework that give examples of how to do the homework and the pupils get instantaneous feedback of how they have done). However there were one or two individuals who did not do it despite daily reminders and a week in which to do it. All parents should have been informed of their childrens\u2019 access details so that you can monitor their progress at home.<\/p>\n<p>We then went on to recap work which had been done in S1 and in S2 &#8211; <strong><em>Area &amp; Volume <\/em><\/strong>and some of this is under Library &#8211; Shape &#8211; Area &amp; Perimeter\u00a0 and also Library &#8211; Shape &#8211; Volume &amp; Surface Area.<\/p>\n<p>The test will take place two weeks after the October break (week beginning 11th November) and the class will sit the National 4 Test, so the work covered in S1, S2 and S3 to date could appear in the test. The main topics are &#8211; <strong><em>Scientific Notation (Standard Form); Pythagoras &amp; Trigonometry; Integers, Brackets &amp; Equations; Angles &amp; Scale Drawing; Speed \/ Distance \/ Time; Symmetry; Area &amp; Volume<\/em><\/strong><em> <\/em>and also <em><strong>Straight Line<\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This week we continued the topic Speed \/ Distance \/ Time with a mixture of calculating Speed, Distance or Time, before looking at Distance-Time Graphs.
