Despite having thoroughly gone over a practice assessment and having issued a second practice assessment, it was obvious that a significant number of the class had not bothered to revise at home in preparation for the Unit Test which is at a basic competency level. As a result a number of the class have failed and will need to do the re-assessment on Monday next week. I spent a period going through each assessment with each individual pupil so that they understood exactly what they should have done in order to answer each question.
