This is on the MyMaths website under Library \u2013 Number \u2013 Ratio and Proportion \u2013 Ratio Dividing 2. The other work is under Library \u2013 Shape \u2013 Measure \u2013 Speed. We also spent one period doing some work on <i>graphs.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>\u00a0<\/i>The class were given a homework on the Mymaths website (Ratio Dividing 2) with a deadline of Monday 20th January for completion.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0The class were reminded of the Added Value Unit test which will be during the examination period at the end of January (Friday 7th February) and that they will need to pass this as well as all the Unit Tests they have already completed. They should refer to the summary of the topics in each Unit of Mathematics as well as the Added Value Unit \u2013 National 4 for details of what they should be revising.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0The class were also informed that the Unit Test on the <b><i>Numeracy Unit<\/i><\/b> will be the week beginning the 24th February. The pupils should refer to the summary of the topics in each Unit of Mathematics \u2013 National 4 to ensure they are clear on what will be in the test.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Some individuals were sitting their re-assessment Unit Test on the <b>Expressions &amp; Formulae Unit<\/b> on Thursday 16th January.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0The BBC Knowledge &amp; Learning website has updated their revision pages <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/education\/levels\">http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/education\/levels<\/a> and it can be navigated from there to National 4, followed by the subject and in the case of Maths, it splits it up into the different units which are further subdivided into topics with revision explanations\/examples and tests with multiple choice.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We continued work on Unit 3 \u2013 Numeracy, with ratio followed by Speed\/Distance\/Time work.
