{"id":498,"date":"2014-01-17T11:10:40","date_gmt":"2014-01-17T11:10:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.harlawacademy.org\/mathsblog\/?p=498"},"modified":"2014-01-17T11:10:40","modified_gmt":"2014-01-17T11:10:40","slug":"5c2-week-ending-17th-january","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.harlawacademy.org\/mathsblog\/2014\/01\/17\/5c2-week-ending-17th-january\/","title":{"rendered":"5C2 &#8211; week ending 17th January"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Homework 3-3 on <b>Vectors<\/b> was due in on Tuesday 14th January.<\/p>\n<p>The class were informed that the date of their final exam would be Tuesday 6th May and that aside from this we would shortly be needing to start preparing for the Prelim (Friday 7<sup>th<\/sup> February), and that they should spend a minimum of 2.5 hours a week on revision. The class were directed to the Higher Maths Objective Questions which can be found on the web as part of the preparation for the Prelim.<\/p>\n<p>We finished Unit 3 &#8211; <b>Vectors<\/b> (this will also be included in the Prelim in February) and the whole of Chapter 13 especially the mixed exercise. The work can be found on the MyMaths website under Library \u2013 Shape \u2013 Vectors \u2013 Vectors 1 &amp; 2 and then the harder work under Library \u2013 A Level \u2013 Core 4 \u2013 all of these lessons.<\/p>\n<p>This then allowed us to work on revision in preparation for the Prelim by doing some questions from a past Prelim, This will be followed in subsequent lessons with Objective Questions, more past papers and any topic revision that the class requests.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Homework 3-3 on Vectors was due in on Tuesday 14th January.
