This is on the MyMaths website under Library \u2013Shape \u2013 Measure \u2013 Speed concentrating on mixed questions. The class hawas issued a homework on the MyMaths website (Speed) with\u00a0a deadline of Thursday 30th January for completion.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0We also spent one period doing some work on <i>graphs <\/i>particularly<i> stem &amp; leaf diagrams <\/i>and this can be found at Library \u2013 Data \u2013 Processing Data \u2013 Stem &amp; Leaf.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0We then spent a lesson on <i>plotting co-ordinates over 3 quadrants<\/i> which led to completing a particular shape as this was part of the mandatory content of the Added Value Unit and was not covered anywhere else. This then allowed us to spend two periods doing Practice Added Value Unit Tests. We kept referring each question to the mandatory content (summary of the topics that each pupil has in their possession) so that everyone was clear exactly what they are expected to be able to manage and that they have an example of the style of question and how to tackle it. The Added Value Unit Test is split into a non-calculator and a calculator paper.<\/p>\n<p>The class were reminded that they can seek help if required whilst study leave is on as long as I am free at the time.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0The class had a homework due on Thursday 30<sup>th<\/sup> January on the Mymaths website (Speed) which the majority of the class completed very well (although a few did not do so well even though everyone has been told they should be getting 75% or above when tackling homeworks on the Mymaths website as there are lessons linked with each homework that give examples of how to do the homework and the pupils get instantaneous feedback of how they have done).
