{"id":642,"date":"2014-02-20T11:13:29","date_gmt":"2014-02-20T11:13:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.harlawacademy.org\/mathsblog\/?p=642"},"modified":"2014-02-20T11:13:29","modified_gmt":"2014-02-20T11:13:29","slug":"4b4-week-ending-21st-february","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.harlawacademy.org\/mathsblog\/2014\/02\/20\/4b4-week-ending-21st-february\/","title":{"rendered":"4B4 &#8211; week ending 21st February"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The first lesson was spent going over the Added Value Unit Test.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0We then spent the next lesson on a practice assessment for the Numeracy Test to prepare the pupils for what will be in the test.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0The class were again directed to the SQA website <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sqasolar.org.uk\/\">www.sqasolar.org.uk<\/a> which has online practice assessments for a number of courses, including National 4 \u2013 Numeracy. The class were encouraged to practice some of these by following the links to Open Assess, selecting the subject (Mathematics: Nat 4) followed by the assessment (Numeracy) and then creating the assessment followed by launching the assessment. The likelihood is that all pupils sitting National 4 will be enrolled for this, and will then sit their assessment online.
