This week the class started the topic Equations & Expressions<\/b> mainly with substituting values into an equation<\/i>, before going onto revising solving equations. This can be found on the MyMaths website under Library \u2013 Algebra \u2013 Equations (Linear) \u2013 Solving Equations, and also Algebra \u2013 Expressions & Formulae \u2013 Substitution 1 & 2.<\/p>\n
When we did work on equations previously, we had used the following website as well (National Library of Virtual Manipulatives) and navigate to Algebra 9-12, followed by Algebra Balance Scales – http:\/\/nlvm.usu.edu\/en\/nav\/frames_asid_201_g_4_t_2.html?open=instructions&from=category_g_4_t_2.html<\/a><\/p>\n The class had a homework on the MyMaths website (Time & Timetables) with\u00a0a deadline of Tuesday 29th April for completion.<\/p>\n In two weeks the class will be doing an end of year test on all the topics covered through the course of the year, including the work as part of the Caf\u00e9 Project.
