26th January:  Note for our parents"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This week we had a really good meeting of our Parent Council and I want to thank the senior pupils, parents and local councillors who attend these meetings.\u00a0 It really does help to share ideas and shape the thinking of how we keep the school moving forward.\u00a0 This is a fairly brief blog sharing some ideas with\u00a0parents on how they can help their children do well at school:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Routines:<\/strong>\u00a0 routines\u00a0matter as they provide structure &#8211; particularly first thing in the day, on getting home from school, on doing homework\u00a0and before bed.\u00a0 Take time to set some routines which work and stick to them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Peace and time to offload<\/strong>:\u00a0 Build in some\u00a0&#8216;quiet time&#8217;\u00a0for your child, away from social media and the &#8216;noise&#8217;
