5C2 – week ending 20th September

With the Forest Walk and holiday, a short week for class work.

This week we continued the topic  Differentiation and Chapter 6. We finished up to Exercise 6Q. The class were reminded that they need to have mastered the Standard Grade work on Fractions, Indices and Factorising.

The class handed in homework 6 on Differentiation – this will also provide the pupils with a good indicator of how well they are coping with the topic as the basic competence NAB test is scheduled for the week beginning the 30th September.

The class were issued with a Practice NAB to be completed by Friday 27th  September when we will go through it all with guidance on the threshold scores and how the marks are awarded.
